There's still no arrest after a man was shot during a botched robbery.

It happened at the Silverwood Apartments in the 2500 block of South 87th East Avenue. The victim is a Hispanic man in his early 40's.

He was playing cards outside with friends when two men tried to rob him. The suspects fired several shots and hit the victim in the abdomen.

At last check, he was in critical condition.

The suspects did not get any money. They drove off in a small gold car.
