EDMOND, Okla. (AP) _ The Tulsa men's golf team captured its first tournament title today in just its third event this fall.

The Golden Hurricane captured an 11-stroke victory at the Oklahoma Intercollegiate. Tulsa shot a final round 295 and outdistanced second place Baylor by 11 strokes with an 889 total for 54 holes.

The victory is the first tournament win for the Hurricane since capturing the Western Athletic Conference Championship in May 2005.

For the Hurricane, senior Sam Korbe and sophomore Nicolas Geyger finished one-two for medalist honors.

Korbe grabbed his second career victory by shooting a final round 76 and finishing one-stroke ahead of Geyger. Korbe had a six-over par 219 score, followed by Geyger's seven-over par 220.
