Oklahoma, Tulsa make top 25 in BCS standings

OKLAHOMA CITY (AP) Oklahoma is 22nd and Tulsa is 25th in the first Bowl Championship Series standings of the season.

The standings are based on the Harris Interactive and USA Today polls, as well as a series of computer rankings.

The top two teams play for the BCS national championship. Right now, those two teams are #1 Ohio State and #2 Southern California.

Michigan is 3rd, followed by Auburn, West Virginia and Florida. Louisville, Notre Dame, Texas and California round out the top ten.
