A suspect is in custody for robbing a pizza delivery man in Tulsa.

Tulsa Police say the suspect, Flemon Whiteside robbed the delivery man of his cash and wallet then he was hit over the head with a pistol, causing it to discharge.

A nearby Tulsa Police officer heard the gun shot and arrived on the scene. Tulsa Police Cpl. Sue Kruse: "he came toward the sound of the gun shot and found a pizza delivery man who had just been robbed a suspect had came up to him and demanded his cash he was struck in the head when he was struck in the head the suspect gun discharged so one round was discharged."

A Tulsa Police canine unit also arrived on the scene and searched the house. They found the victim's wallet and money, as well as another wallet belonging to another pizza delivery man who was robbed in August.
