OKLAHOMA CITY (AP) _ An Alaska Airlines 737 made an emergency landing at Will Rogers World Airport early Friday after the crew reported smoke in the cockpit, airport spokeswoman Karen Carney said.

Only a pilot and a co-pilot were on board when the plane landed at 1:19 a.m. and there were no injuries, Carney said.

``When the aircraft was landing, the pilot called to the tower and said there was the smell of smoke and visible smoke in the cockpit,'' she said.

The plane was inspected and no fire was found, Carney said, and investigators believe the smoke was caused by hydraulic fluid leaking onto the plane's heating and cooling system.

The jet had been in Oklahoma City for maintenance and left the airport earlier in the morning, but the crew decided to return after smelling smoke, Carney said.
