STROUD, Okla. (AP) -- A 17-year-old Chandler girl was killed when her car ran off the road near Stroud and overturned, throwing her from the vehicle.
The Oklahoma Highway Patrol says Tiffany Diesher was pronounced dead at the scene of Tuesday's accident. Diesher's 5-month-old daughter was listed in stable condition at an Oklahoma City hospital with a head injury.
The patrol says Diesher was driving south on State Highway 99 when she lost control, ran off the road and hit a ditch, throwing her about four feet from the car. The patrol says she wasn't wearing her seat belt.
The OHP says the infant was secured in a car seat.
