STILLWATER, Okla. (AP) _ The Oklahoma State Cowboys will be looking to end a couple of streaks when they open Big 12 play at Kansas State on Saturday.

OSU has lost six of its last seven conference openers and is just 3-and-7 overall in the first game of conference season since the Big 12 formed.

The Cowboys also haven't won in Manhattan since 1988 when coach Mike Gundy was the OSU quarterback.

Kickoff is at 2:30 Saturday afternoon at K-State.
