NORMAN, Okla. (AP) _ The University of Oklahoma women's basketball team has set a school record for the number of season tickets sold.

More than 5,000 tickets have been sold _ all for seats in the lower bowl of the Lloyd Noble Center.

General admission tickets for the upper bowl are still available for $95.

The Sooners return all five starters and nine letter winners from last year's team that reached the quarterfinals of the NCAA women's tournament.

OU is ranked as high as third in some pre-season women's basketball polls.

The Sooners have exhibition games set for November 1st and 7th and the regular season begins November 12th with a home game against DePaul.
