Law enforcement officers from all over the state were gathered in Tulsa Tuesday to try to combat underage drinking.
Teams of undercover officers and underage volunteers fanned out across the city to see which stores and restaurants are following the law.
A set of officers would go in first, followed by this 18 year old volunteer, who was wearing our hidden camera. His assignment was to try to buy a case of beer. If he was asked how old he was, he was told to tell the truth.
One clerk asked for his ID and looked at it for a full 30 seconds, before ringing him up. That clerk got a pretty stern lecture from the undercover officer, but since this was just a drill he wasn't ticketed.
