A Broken Arrow man is charged with first degree murder for that cityâ€™s first homicide of the year.

Joel Shaleen called 911 last week and confessed to shooting his 42-year-old wife. Tonya Shaleen's body was found inside the couple's home.

Their three children were also inside, but they were not hurt.
