NORMAN, Okla. (AP) _ The Oklahoma Sooners are working on getting off to a better start in their games.
The 17th-ranked Sooners have scored just 26 first-half points and have been tied or behind at halftime in each of their three games.
Each of its first possessions have ended with a punt.
Offensive coordinator Kevin Wilson says OU isn't starting games with any rhythm or consistency and the offense may be trying to do too much.
But coach Bob Stoops say he's pleased with the overall game management and believes OU is ``close'' to having some big games.
The Sooners host Middle Tennessee Saturday night with kickoff at 6.
