The Oklahoma Senior Olympics kicked of its 20th anniversary this week.

Tuesday, adults age 50 and older played Pickleball, which is a game similar to tennis that is played on a badminton court.

Seniors say they participate to stay healthy and active as well as be socially involved. Bill Sturdevant: "It's wonderful to compete with other individuals. They come in from Texas, Arkansas, Kansas; all of Oklahoma, Texas and it's nice to see these people. I see several of them come in every year and we've become quite close friends."

The Oklahoma Senior Olympics feature more than 73 events and continue through next Wednesday.
