HARRAH, Okla. (AP) -- Authorities in Harrah are investigating the death of a 5-month-old boy who was brought into a fire station Sunday.
Harrah police Officer Phil Stewart says relatives came in with the child about 9:15 AM.
Stewart says relatives told firefighters and police the boy's mother woke about 9 AM and found that the boy, who was in bed with her, was unresponsive.
He says relatives told them they tried to revive the infant with CPR before coming to the station.
Firefighters and Stewart tried to revive the child, too, but were unsuccessful. The boy was pronounced dead at the station.
The Lincoln County Sheriff's Department and state medical examiner's office are investigating.
