OKLAHOMA CITY (AP) -- Law enforcement officers detain a passenger at Will Rogers World Airport after a suspicious liquid was found in his luggage.
Airport spokeswoman Karen Carney says a screener with the Transportation Security Administration found the liquid in a bottle in the passenger's checked bag and notified police about 6 PM Saturday.
Carney says the man, whose name wasn't released, was kept from boarding Southwest Airlines Flight 948, which was bound for Phoenix. He was questioned by police officers and the FBI.
Carney says the flight was allowed to take off as scheduled and no other airport operations were affected.
The Oklahoma City police bomb squad and fire department hazardous materials unit removed the liquid and took it away to be tested.
