The investigation continues into an accident Wednesday afternoon that killed an 11-year-old Tulsa boy. Counselors were at several Tulsa Union schools Thursday to help students deal with the loss of a classmate. The accident happened in the 3600 block of East 106th Street.

The family has now released a picture of 11 year old Fabian Saenz. Tulsa Police say four children ranging in age from 8 to 14 were out on a joyride, when it turned deadly. Police say the maroon Chrysler Sebring they were in was speeding around a corner, when the driver lost control. The 14-year-old driver over-corrected, spun the car 180 degrees, and hit Fabian Saenz, who was out mowing his lawn.

Tulsa Police say the victim probably did not have time to react. The Tulsa Union 6th grader died at the scene. The car then drove into a red trailer and flipped over onto a neighbor's house.

Thursday morning, the News on 6 talked to the victim's next door neighbor and best friend. The boys also rode the school bus together. Victor Arrieta: "Now in sixth grade, he usually at this morning would pick me up to go to school, but I didn't go to school today because I still can't, because I'm still in shock. "

Tulsa Police say none of the children in the car were seriously injured and all four ran into the neighborhood after the accident.

The 14 year old girl's name hasn't been released. She's being held in the Tulsa County Juvenile Detention Center.

You might be wondering if the "parents" of the underage driver will face criminal charges for her actions. The News on 6 talked with an experienced, Tulsa defense attorney. He says it's very unlikely the parents would be prosecuted.

He says they would have had to knowingly and voluntarily participate in the child's actions to face charges.
