OKLAHOMA CITY (AP) -- A Powerball ticket sold in Oklahoma and worth $400,000 is about to go unclaimed.
Winning tickets expire 180 days after the drawing and state lottery officials say the ticket worth $400,000 from the April 1st drawing will expire next Thursday if it's not claimed.
The ticket was sold at QuikTrip at 9037 South Yale in Tulsa and matches five numbers from the April 1st drawing.
The winning numbers are 1-10-23-50-and-55.
Other winning tickets that haven't been claimed and are near expiration are one for $10,000 from the May 6th drawing. It was sold at a Cash-and-Dash in Duncan and will expire November 2nd.
A ticket worth $30,000 from the May 27th drawing that was sold at an EZ Mart in Sallisaw will expire November 23rd.
Under Oklahoma law the first $500,000 of unclaimed prize money is used to help treat compulsive gambling. All other unclaimed prizes are added back to the overall prize pool to be awarded for future prizes or special prize promotions.
