STILLWATER, Okla. (AP) Oklahoma State has indefinitely suspended freshman basketball player Gary Flowers for an unspecified violation of team rules.
The Cowboys signed Flowers, a 6’8 forward, in February out of Lincoln High School in Dallas. He was a high school teammate of Cowboys guard Byron Eaton.
Oklahoma State said in a release that its basketball staff would conduct a full investigation and would not comment on Flowers' situation.
The Cowboys play their first exhibition game November 3rd against Pittsburg State. Teams are allowed to begin workouts Friday.
