LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (AP) _ Arkansas State's players are trying to put their latest trip to the state capital behind them.
Bobby Reid threw for two touchdowns and ran for another, and Oklahoma State forced three turnovers in a 35-to-7 victory over the Indians on Saturday night. Arkansas State hasn't lost since 2004 at its home stadium in Jonesboro, but the Indians couldn't overcome the Cowboys' smothering defense at Little Rock's War Memorial Stadium.
Arkansas State took an early 7-to-0 lead on Khayyam Burns' 51-yard interception return. Later in the first quarter, Koby McKinnon intercepted Reid at the Indians' 12.
But OSU forced a pair of turnovers in the first half and another at the start of the third quarter. Meanwhile, Reid settled down after his two big mistakes.
Reid tied the game early in the second quarter when he kept the ball himself on an option for a 13-yard scoring run.
OSU went ahead 14-to-7 on Mike Hamilton's 7-yard run and the Cowboys scored again early in the third.
