OKLAHOMA CITY (AP) -- 18 people have been killed so far this month on state roads and highways, but Oklahoma's fatality count is trailing last year's pace.
The Oklahoma Highway Patrol reports 20 people were killed during the same time last September.
So far this year, 504 people have been killed in traffic accidents across the state. That barely trails last year's pace of 512 traffic deaths during the same time period.
