TULSA, Okla. (AP) _ A former Tulsa World newspaper carrier is facing two first-degree murder charges for the deaths of two women on his delivery route.
Paul Williford is now charged in the September death of 75-year-old Geraldine Lawhorn and the October death 73-year-old Donna Stauffer.
Williford was arrested last October after attacking another elderly woman who lived on his route. He has since been convicted and sentenced to life in prison for that attack.
After his arrest he confessed to killing Lawhorn and Stauffer.
The deaths of both women were originally ruled to be of natural causes but after Williford's confession the body of Lawhorn was exhumed and an autopsy determined she was strangled.
Stauffer was cremated after her death.
