A hit-and-run collision caused 100 people to evacuate their apartments in Oklahoma City.

Police say someone hit a large gas meter with their car Sunday and sliced off the shut-off valve.

Because of the holiday weekend, the fire department had a hard time finding someone to fix the leak.

In all, nine apartment buildings had to be evacuated.
