ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (AP) _ Edgar Gonzalez hit a two-run single in a five-run eighth inning as Albuquerque rallied past Oklahoma 10-9 in a Pacific Coast League game.
The Isotopes allowed eight runs over the game's first three innings and trailed for much of the evening, but a Tony Schrager groundout and a Gonzalez RBI single cut the lead to 8-5.
In the eighth, it took two bases loaded walks, Gonzalez's two-run single and a Jason Wood sacrifice fly to turn the early deficit into a two-run lead.
After falling behind by a run early, the Isotopes got a two-run home run off Chris Aguila to take their first lead at 2-1. Oklahoma then scored four times in the second and added three more in the third to take a commanding advantage.
The RedHawks fall to 73-68 with the loss, while Albuquerque improves to 68-71.
The teams meet again today and tomorrow.
