VIAN, Okla. (AP) _ One of the top high school running backs in the state is being suspended from the first game of the season.
Vian coach Brandon Tyler says senior Vfastv Locust won't play in Friday's nights season-opener against Seeworth Academy because he broke a team rule.
Tyler declined to say what rule Locust violated.
Locust led the state in rushing last year as he gained nearly 2,680 yards and scored a state-record 57 touchdowns _ including 51 rushing TDs.
