Tulsa Police have started a Senior Services Unit to crack down on criminals who prey on elderly people.
Floyd Massad was one victim. He was beaten and robbed three months ago. Massad says he's pleased to hear about the new focus. He says the attack on him has changed the way he looks at things.
"Yeah, I'm a little more cautious now. And I keep that damn door locked all the time."
The Senior Services Unit will have 2 police officers.
One will focus on crimes like robberies. The other will tackle fraud and con-men who target seniors.
