The search is on for the suspect who tried to steal some cellular phone cable overnight.

A Tulsa security guard saw the man loading the cable into a truck behind a shopping center at 2500 West Edison in Tulsa.

The man ran off, leaving behind the truck.

Cell phone antennas were recently installed at the shopping center. At that time, crews say thousands of dollars worth of special tools were stolen.

Investigators don't know if the two crimes are connected.
