Members of a Tulsa took time out to remember 9-11 Sunday. Tulsa's Trinity Episcopal observed 5 minutes of silence to honor those lost during the terror attacks and the choir performed "Mozart's Requiem" at the exact moment the first tower was hit.
The congregation also acknowledged Tulsa's first responders by inviting them to participate. Rector Stephen Mckee: "Realizing that at 9-11 four years ago many people who lost their lives were first responders and we just want to say thanks."
Police, fire and emergency service personnel read scripture and were presented with certificates of appreciation from the church.
