OKLAHOMA CITY (AP) _ After escaping Hurricane Katrina with their four children, James and Joan Henburg went to an Oklahoma City relief agency looking for a place to live.

They came out with a three-bedroom home they can use for as long as they want.

Victory House, a mission of Victory Church, usually finds housing for people getting out of prison. Since the hurricane, it's found apartment units and vacant homes for people who have fled New Orleans.

Ruby Samilton bought a house specifically to offer to a displaced family. She went to Victory House on Thursday just as the Henburgs were looking for better housing. They had been staying with Joan Henburg's mother.

Victory House officials estimates it has placed 170 families in homes and apartments donated by the public.
