TULSA, Okla. (AP) _ Jenks scored on a 64-yard pass play with 18 seconds left in the game to upset top-ranked Tulsa Union in a matchup of Class-6-A powerhouses at Skelly Stadium.
Jenks quarterback Jake Strain hit wide receiver Isaac Norman on the game-winning play to cap an improbable comeback for the Number 2-ranked Trojans.
The final score was Jenks 48, Tulsa Union 44.
The annual matchup between the two teams is dubbed the ``Backyard Bowl,'' and Thursday night's contest was held before a crowd of more than 15,000.
