Authorities search for McIntosh County jail escapee

Green Country authorities are on the hunt for an escapee out of McIntosh County. <br/><br/>Authorities say Justin and Jason Cox escaped through the county jailâ€™s ventilation system around 8:45 PM Tuesday.

Green Country authorities are on the hunt for an escapee out of McIntosh County.

Authorities say Justin and Jason Cox escaped through the county jailâ€™s ventilation system around 8:45 PM Tuesday.

Ground, air, and K-9 units were used to search the area. Officers say Jason Cox was caught, but Justin is still at large.

He's believed to be hiding in a wooded area near the Eufaula hospital. Justin Cox is considered armed and dangerous.
