This Labor Day weekend has already turned deadly on Green Country waters.

A boating accident on Grand Lake killed two people Friday night and sent four others to area hospitals. It happened around 10 PM Friday, just outside Grove.

GRDA Lake Patrol officials say a 25-foot boat carrying six passengers ran into an island. Authorities say Brent Johnson of Inola and Jennifer Beeson were both killed. Four other passengers were taken to two area hospitals.

There's no word yet on their conditions or what caused the boat to crash.
