OKLAHOMA CITY (AP) -- Governor Brad Henry Friday again encouraged Oklahomans to contribute to the hurricane relief effort on the Gulf Coast.

Henry says the tragedy is heart-wrenching and is calling on Oklahomans to give whatever they can, be that $1, $100 or blood.

State Health Commissioner Michael Crutcher says at least 60 doctors from the Sooner state are volunteering to join the relief effort. He says the state is also looking for volunteer paramedics, social workers and psychologists.
