Tulsa Police have identified a man shot and killed over the weekend.

The body of 21 year old Jermaine Cox was found on the side of a north Tulsa road Sunday. Witnesses called police after hearing three gunshots. Officers found Cox in a ditch. They say Cox was an ex-con who was released from prison in May after serving time for robbery.

Cox had some associations with gang members, but it's not known whether those ties are linked to his death. No one has been arrested.
