OKLAHOMA CITY (AP) -- The Oklahoma Lottery Commission meets today as a deadline for the introduction of the state's first games draws nearer.
Commissioners plan to meet secretly to discuss proposals for advertising and marketing support services for the lottery, which was overwhelmingly approved by voters last year.
They'll also consider requests for proposals for financial and audit services and consider taking action to participate in multistate lotteries.
Commissioners have set October 12th as the deadline for the introduction of scratch-off tickets in the state. Officials hope to have online tickets for sale by November 10th.
Lottery officials estimate sales will produce about $65-million for education during the current fiscal year and up to $150-million in the first full year.
