OKLAHOMA CITY (AP) -- The unemployment rate in Oklahoma fell by three-tenths of a percent in July.
The state Employment Security Commission says the jobless rate in the state last month was four-point-two percent.
The unemployment rate also fell in each of the state's metro areas.
The rate is down to 4 percent in Oklahoma City, a drop from 4.5 percent in June. Tulsa's unemployment fell from 4.4 percent to 4.1 percent and Lawton's jobless number is down from 4.8 percent to 4.4.
The highest unemployment rate is 8.1 percent in Okfuskee County and the lowest is 2.3 percent in Roger Mills County.
