OCHELATA, Okla. (AP) _ A 9-year-old girl is dead after the pickup truck she was riding in crashed on a Washington County road.

The Oklahoma Highway Patrol says Tallie Gailey of Ochelata was killed Wednesday afternoon in the accident on a county road southeast of Ochelata.

Troopers say the truck driven by the girl's brother went out of control, hit a ditch and rolled twice, throwing the girl 85 feet from the truck. The driver, Mitchell Gailey, is hospitalized in serious condition.
