STILLWATER, Okla. (AP) _ A Stillwater woman died in a one-vehicle crash on a Payne County road.
The Oklahoma Highway patrol says 35-year-old Desiree Suzanne Brumley was a passenger in a pickup truck that was traveling at 62 miles per hour. Troopers say the truck failed to negotiate a turn, struck a tree, a post and a boulder, rolled over and came to rest on its left side.
Brumley was ejected from the vehicle following Saturday's 4 pm crash and died at the scene from her injuries.
The driver, 18-year-old Anthony Curtis Shelton, suffered minor scrapes to his back and was transported by Stillwater Fire Department.
Troopers say that neither Shelton nor Brumley were wearing seat belts.
