A bizarre incident at a Tulsa gas station leaves one man in the hospital after he's run over.
It happened around 10:45PM Thursday night at the Shell station on 1st and Utica.
Witnesses told Tulsa Police they saw a light tan colored Bronco Two speeding out the gas station.
As the vehicle sped off towards 3rd and Utica, witnesses say they saw a man hanging on from the passenger side. Someone pushed him out of the SUV and the man was run over by the rear tires. Witnesses say the Bronco didn't stop and sped off heading south on Utica.
Witnesses checked on the man then went inside the gas station to see if the clerk was OK. But the clerk was nowhere in sight. Police now say the man run over was the clerk from the gas station. The clerk is in critical condition with several broken bones and road rash.
Police say they did find a large amount of money on the man that was run over but at the time they did not know he was the clerk at the station. Investigators are reviewing a videotape from inside the station for clues.
Officers are also looking for the driver of the Bronco but all they have to go on is that he is between 18-21 years old with shoulder length blonde hair.
