OKLAHOMA CITY (AP) _ Governor Brad Henry today holds a ceremonial bill signing today for a bill that prohibits the release of information on victims of rape or assault.

The Victims of Violent Crimes Privacy Act makes it illegal for state officials to publicly post all records related to crime reports.

State Representative Rebecca Hamilton says those records were routinely posted on public Web sites and included graphic descriptions of the assault, along with personal information about the victim.

She says some women have been stalked by associates of their attackers after officials posted the victim's home address online.
