Charges are expected in the next couple of days against a man suspected in the death of a nine year old Oklahoma girl.
The body of Katie Middleton was discovered Saturday in a rural area southeast of Okemah. Katie disappeared on Friday after telling her mom she was going to the store.
Investigators say William Franklin Dobrovolny is a suspect in Katie's murder. He's being held right now on complaints of violating probation and grand theft auto out of California, but charges in connection with Katie's death are expected in the next day or so. Dobrovolny is being held in the Okmulgee County jail.
Meanwhile, a memorial has been set up at the site where the 9 year old's body was found.
News on 6 anchor Craig Day talked with Katie Middleton's mother Monday morning. She told Craig Day, the family is overwhelmed and touched by the amount of support they're receiving and that is very much appreciated during this very difficult time.
