MARLOW, Okla. (AP) _ A 24-year-old Marlow man is killed early Sunday morning after losing control of his motorcycle in Stephens County and striking a ditch.

The Oklahoma Highway Patrol says Mark Ennis was trying to elude Marlow police when he ran off the road about 1:40 Sunday morning. He was transported to Duncan Regional Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.

The patrol says Ennis was not wearing a helmet.
