OKLAHOMA CITY (AP) -- A 72-year-old woman has died at an Oklahoma City hospital after she was badly burned by a fire at a northwest Oklahoma City senior center.
Fire officials say Gloria Whitacre suffered second and third-degree burns to 95 percent of her body during Sunday's blaze. She died Monday.
Sprinklers had extinguished the flames when firefighters arrived shortly before 1 PM.
Fire Major Brian Stanaland says based on evidence at the scene, it appears she started the fire intentionally.
He says about 70 residents were temporarily evacuated from the building during the fire.
One woman reported difficulty breathing after she was evacuated, but no others were injured.
