OMAHA, Neb. (AP) _ A study of business conditions indicates Oklahoma's economy is expanding, but more slowly than in recent months.

The study by Creighton University economics professor Ernie Goss finds Oklahoma's business conditions index in July at 54.2, down slightly from 54.6 in May. A number higher than 50 indicates an expanding economy.

The study found Oklahoma has added nearly 10,000 jobs during the first half of the year and Goss says he expects the state to add 11,000 more jobs by the end of the year.

Goss says the overall business index for the Mid-America region is 59.7 for July, up slightly from 59.2 in June.
