Bass Pro is reeling in applicants as hundreds lined up to fish for jobs Monday in Broken Arrow.
The applicants were seeking jobs at the Bass Pro Shop store to open in later this year. In fact, applicants were already in line when interviewers arrived at 6:30 AM Monday.
General Manager Bill Rice says he expects between 5,000 and 10,000 people to apply at the job fair. That means a long wait, both indoors and out.
Most of those in line say they're in for the long haul. Jeff: "As long as it takes. Maybe, if it takes up to an hour, two hours, I wouldn't mind at all."
Bass Pro is looking to fill almost 250 jobs, both full and part time in every department. The job fair continues Tuesday and Wednesday at the Broken Arrow Holiday Inn at 2600 North Aspen.
