One person is seriously hurt following an accident in east Tulsa.

Tulsa Police officers were called to the Flying-J Truck Stop on 129th East Avenue shortly after 5 AM Monday to check on a suspicious vehicle.

When police arrived, the driver took off.

The driver led officers on a short chase. The chase ended on 11th Street when the suspect went into the wrong lane and hit another vehicle. A woman in the other vehicle was rushed to a Tulsa hospital. No word on her condition.

The suspect tried to run away, but was arrested by Tulsa Police and taken to jail.

The car had reportedly been stolen from north Tulsa.
