OSU Cowboys get commitment from Houston recruit

HOUSTON (AP) _ Oklahoma State is again having success recruiting high school football players in the Houston area. <br/><br/>Defensive lineman Shane Jarka from Sugar Land says he'll sign with the Cowboys.

HOUSTON (AP) _ Oklahoma State is again having success recruiting high school football players in the Houston area.

Defensive lineman Shane Jarka from Sugar Land says he'll sign with the Cowboys.

Jarka is 6-foot-3, 228-pounds and had 82 tackles and two quarterback sacks as a junior last year. He says he's picking OSU over Texas Tech and TCU.

Verbal commitments are not binding. The national signing period is next February.
