OKLAHOMA CITY (AP) -- Lieutenant Governor Mary Fallin says 215,000 gun locks are available in this year's Project Childsafe.
The program is funded by the US Department of Justice and the locks will be distributed statewide during the next 17 days and are available to the public at no charge.
Fallin says retailers and city and county law enforcement will have the locks and will help residents install them on their weapons.
