The latest on the death of an 8-week-old baby girl, left in a hot car. Noelle Ross was in the car in her parents' driveway near 81st and Garnett for about two hours Friday afternoon. Both parents thought the other had taken the baby inside.

News on 6 anchor Terry Hood says most parents have heard how quickly the scorching summer sun, can heat up the interior of a car, but still accidents happened.

Fire crews and EMSA were called to a downtown Tulsa apartment complex Monday morning. There, they found a 3-year-old boy locked in a car. Rescuers say the boy had started to sweat, but didn't need to be taken to the hospital.

Daniel Spitzer says he wants to be a living reminder of what can happen when a child is forgotten in a hot vehicle. Spitzer accidentally left his 6-month-old son Ben in his truck last summer while he went to work. He says talking about his mistake is the only way he can handle the pain of losing his son and he says he knows better than anyone what the parents of Noelle Ross are facing.

"I feel their pain. I understand. It's families, its grandparents; it's everybody in your community. It's sad. It's babies."
