Oklahomans are hopeful about the state's economy and say education is the state's most pressing problem.
In a new Oklahoma Poll by The News On 6 and the Tulsa World, we asked for your opinion on the most pressing problems facing the state. 24% say education is the state's most pressing problem. 10% say roads are the biggest issue. 9% say it's the economy in general, and 12% say they don't know.
Oklahomans are cautiously optimistic when it comes to the state of the state's economy. 40% say it's generally okay. 26% believe it's somewhat depressed. 24% say it's reasonably healthy.
Finally, most of those responding to our poll think the state's economy will either stay the same or improve. 43% of you say the state's economy will stay about the same over the next one to two years. 35% think it will improve. 16% believe it will get worse.
The Oklahoma Poll is a partnership of The News On 6 and the Tulsa World. It has a margin of error of 3.5%.
