HUGO, Okla. (AP) _ A Hugo man is dead following a single-car crash south of the Choctaw County town.

The Oklahoma Highway Patrol says Donald Gilmore died at a Hugo hospital following the crash on a county road Thursday morning.

Troopers say the van Gilmore was driving ran off the road and hit a tree.

A passenger in the van was not seriously injured.
