Tulsa Police are searching for a Missouri man who disappeared more than two weeks ago in Tulsa.
Investigators found his abandoned vehicle Wednesday night. They believe he is in danger. The News on 6's Heather Lewin has more.
June 30th was the last time Jerry Doyle called his wife. Tulsa Police officer Scott Walton: "And at that time he told her, I'll be home in three days." Doyle never returned. Tulsa Police know he withdrew cash from a Tulsa ATM on the 29th, just after midnight and again at 4 AM. From there, the trail went cold, until residents at a Broken Arrow apartment complex reported Doyle's car sitting in their parking lot. "It had been abandoned there, windows down, keys in the vehicle.â€
Police say they found some of Doyle's personal items in the car. There were no obvious signs of foul play, but the disappearance is still suspicious, not long after Doyle was reported missing two people turned up on a surveillance camera trying to use his ATM card.
Tulsa Police say two suspects, a man[pictured right] and a woman, were caught using Doyle's credit cards and writing checks on his account. Police have questioned the two and suspect they're tied-in to Doyle's disappearance, but say they're not considered main suspects. Doyle had been to Tulsa before, and this trip, family members and police fear something went wrong. "He failed to return, and obviously family members believe this to be well out of his normal behavior."
Tulsa Police are looking for a man known to hang around the corner of Pine and Cincinnati. His street name is "Scooter." Investigators ask anyone who knows his whereabouts to call Crimestoppers at 596-COPS.
